Encouragement for the Spring

Today is the first day back for the 2020 spring semester!

While the fall semester may have been tough for some of us, spring gives us the opportunity to start fresh! As the season of rebirth and renewal is upon us, we begin to discover more about ourselves through this time of growth. For the days that are overwhelming, I offer two poems that will remind you that there is always hope, no matter how dark the world becomes. Light exists even in the darkest moments of our lives. Flowers dry out in the winter, but remember that buds will begin to bloom as we get closer to spring.
